Solar done by people who understood the engineering before they ever picked up a wrench.
Aduu Solar started as a solar engineering and permit-design firm in Silver Spring - drawing plan sets, running structural and electrical calculations, and pulling permits for projects across DC and Maryland. When we started installing systems ourselves, we brought that engineering-first discipline with us. The result is solar that's designed right the first time, installed clean, and permitted without the delays that come from cutting corners early.
Today we handle residential and commercial installations across DC and Maryland, and we still own every step - assessment, design, permitting, install, and utility permission to operate - under one roof.

Most solar companies are built sales-first: a sales team closes the deal, then hands your project to whoever's available to engineer and install it. We were built the other way around.
Aduu began doing the technical work behind solar - engineering plan sets, structural and electrical design, permitting - for other people's projects. We saw how often homeowners got an aggressive sales pitch followed by a system that was undersized, over-promised, or stuck in permitting for months because the paperwork was wrong. So we built an installation company that fixes that at the source.
Founder-led means the people who own the outcome are the same people who designed your system and who you can reach when you have a question. There's no handoff to a call center, no mystery about who's accountable. One team owns your project from the first roof assessment through the day your meter starts spinning backward - and stands behind it long after.
Headquartered in Silver Spring, we live and work in the same communities we install in. When you call, you reach the people down the road - not a call center three time zones away.
We design every system around your actual roof, your actual usage, and your actual utility rate - not a one-size template. You get a proposal with line-item pricing and the assumptions written down, so you can see exactly how the numbers work before you sign anything.
Honest sizing over oversold systems. Clean installs that pass inspection the first time. And straight answers - including telling you when solar doesn't make sense for your situation. We'd rather lose a sale than put a system on a roof that shouldn't have one.
Premium equipment, workmanship we warranty, and a team that's still here after the install. We handle SREC registration and walk you through your incentives so you actually capture the savings you signed up for, not just the ones on the brochure.
We evaluate your roof, shading, and usage, then engineer a system sized to your home, not a sales quota.
Line-item pricing, documented assumptions, and a clear picture of payback and financing options.
We handle the plan sets and county/DC permits ourselves, the part that trips up most installers.
Our crews install to code, and it passes inspection.
We manage utility interconnection, PTO, and SREC registration, and we're reachable when you need us.
We're committed to delivering exceptional solar solutions backed by industry-leading expertise and customer service.
